Barmouth Promenade

Barmouth is squeezed between the rocky headlands of Craig y Gigfran, Dinas Oleu, Garn and the waters of Cardigan Bay.  Barmouth Promenade, or as it is known, Marine Parade East, stretches for over a mile along the seafront.

The southern end of the promenade, the harbour end, can be very busy at times while the north end is often deserted. But wherever you are on the prom you will find a seaside kiosk or small café for an ice cream or a cup of tea al fresco, and you are never far from the clear waters of Cardigan Bay.
